Mailto Links

ISSUE:

Mailto links are widely used to provide visitors with a quick and convenient method of sending feedback on a site or requesting information. However, it should not be assumed that clicking on a mailto link will cause an E-mail client to launch automatically. Some systems may be incapable of this type of automated function, while others may simply not be set-up to do so. Users should have access to the E-mail address for mailto links, which they can use to manually address a message.
