Biometric Identification
ISSUE:
Biometric identification relies on physical characteristics that are unique to each person to ascertain the identification of an individual. Biometric identification can include retinal scanning, iris scanning, voiceprint identification and fingerprint Or handprint scanning. An individual with a disability may not possess the biological characteristic required for a scan or may be unable to position themselves for a scan.
STANDARD:
- Provide a non-Biometric identification alternative.
- Provide alternative types of Biometric identification.
