Standard Ports
ISSUE:
A user with a disability may require input /or output devices other than the standard keyboard, mouse, monitor or speakers. Adaptive input and output technologies (e.g., switches, microphones, speech-synthesizers and Braille displays) are generally connected through an industry standard port (e.g., serial, parallel, USB, AGP, 1/8" audio input and output jacks).
STANDARD:
- Provide industry standard serial, parallel and USB ports.
- If an external display is supported, provide a standard display connection Active Graphics Port (AGP).
- Provide industry standard audio input and output jacks.
